Title: Piano Private (AP 102) Category: Arts - Performing
Description: Private instruction in piano. Lessons provided by the pianist that has served SNCCC for the past 20 years. Each lesson will be 30 minutes long. There will be 25 lessons during the school year, so there will be ample time for “make-up” lessons. Your child will receive lessons in theory and performance. Request parents make a commitment for at least a full semester’s instruction (12 lessons). Tuition will be collected monthly.

Title: Drama Class (Movie In Making) (AP 105) Category: Arts - Performing
Description: Drama is both a literary and performing art. In recognition of this, students will perform an original play one semester and write a class play the next semester. As part of performing the play students must be able to read and memorize lines . We will be taping the play to show it as a movie. Therefore, your children, friends and family can enjoy a movie night on a date to be announce during the school year. Parents may be asked to help with costumes and set. Most of the written class play will be composed in class as a collaborative effort. The goal is for children to appreciate and understand the "writing" process.

Description: This Home Economics class will explore the different areas in the home. The students will learn easy and fun recipes as well as kitchen safety. There will also be an emphasis on nutrition and the food pyramid. We will sew simple projects and discuss keeping a home organized and clean. These are vital things for our growing children to learn and hold on to as they enter into adulthood.
