Description: Your children will be exploring the 7 Elements of Art (line, shape, color, value, texture, form and space) through out he year and discovering the wonderful artistic gifts each of us has been given by God. Everyone is a masterpiece in the Lords eyes.

Title: Art Basics (AV 102) Category: Arts - Visual

Description: The children will create at least one landscape painting, one acrylic still-life, learn the techniques of drawing and so much more! We will have fun with cartooning, self portraits, and clay sculptures. We will also learn about some of the most famous artist in history and become familiar with their work. Students will be required to write reports on artists, art theory and art history and take a field trip to the art museum.
